The Circle and Los Angeles City Commemorate Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

The Ovarian Cancer Circle/Inspired By Robin Babbini was recognized by Los Angeles City Council for September OVARIAN CANCER AWARENESS MONTH for the 8th consecutive year. Councilwomen Katy Yaroslavsky (CD5), Monica Rodriguez (CD7), Nithya Raman (CD4), and Councilman John Lee (CD12), presented The Circle with a Certificate of Achievement.

The Ovarian Cancer Circle is Recognized with a Certificate from Los Angeles CityCity Hall with The Circle team, Councilwomen Nithya Raman, Monica Rodriguez, Katy Yaroslavsky, Councilman John Lee & Dr. Sanaz Memararzadeh

The City’s recognition also included illuminating City Hall and the LAX pylons teal, the national color of ovarian cancer.

Separately, the City of West Hollywood renewed its civic participation in recognizing Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month by lighting their City Hall and the street lanterns along the stretch of Santa Monica Blvd aglow in teal.
